Proxies

Anonymous proxy servers act as forwarding stations between a web browser and a web site. It can redirect traffic around a point in the net where traffic is censored. These proxies can be blocked if the censor finds out about it, so you may have to change proxies often. Search google for anonymous proxy. Some sites list many proxy volunteers.

Tunnels

Tunnels allow you to encrypt net traffic between a browser and a proxy, thus preventing the censor from viewing what sites you browse. This is a little more complicated than plain proxies, but in some cases it's very necessary, because ISPs that cooperate with or are even run by a censor can and do watch what you do.
